Monte dei Ragni Valpolicella Superiore: The Veneto Red Wine to Pair with Red Meat, Game, and Aged Cheeses

Monte dei Ragni Valpolicella Superiore is a Veneto red wine produced by the Monte dei Ragni winery, located in the municipality of Fumane, in Valpolicella. The wine is made from a selection of Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes, hand-harvested and dried for about 30 days. After pressing, the must is fermented in steel at a controlled temperature. The wine obtained is then re-fermented on the Amarone pomace, giving it a more full-bodied and tannic character. Aging takes place in wooden barrels for a period of at least 12 months.

Monte dei Ragni Valpolicella Superiore is a deep ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose, it has hints of ripe red fruit, spices, and tobacco. On the palate, it is a robust and structured wine, with well-integrated tannins and a persistent finish.

Monte dei Ragni Valpolicella Superiore is ideal for pairing with dishes of red meat, game, and aged cheeses. It is recommended to serve it at a temperature of 16-18°C.
