Umbria IGT “Pinot Nero della Sala” 2021 – Castello Della Sala

Traditionally a white wine terroir, Castello della Sala’s Pinot Noir della Sala finds an authentically, typical expression, reflecting the terroir’s profound character.
Produced exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes since 1990, in one way it is Cervaro’s “alter ego”. Together they represent the two different expressions of the complex and refined soul that makes Castello della Sala. It is produced from 4 hectares of vineyard stand at over 400 meters above sea level, on fossil-rich limestone soils with sedimentary sand dating back to the Pliocene epoch.
