Masseto isThe result of an overall late and cool vintage, favorable conditions for Merlot, which was able to ripen slowly and fully under sunny weather but without excessive heat, conditions that allowed perfect ripening.The result is a wine of the usual deep ruby color. On the nose:fully ripe fruitiness endowed with great freshness and complexity, underscored by delicate notes of vanilla and cocoa.In the mouth, it is substantial and rich, with great density and a rare, silky smooth tannic quality.
