The Barbaresco area’s soil offers a singular expression of Nebbiolo. These vineyards produce wines with exceptional balance and finesse, delicateness and elegance for Massolino’s Barbaresco. A very persuasive and fascinating expression.
Color: moderately intense garnet red.
Nose: seductive floral notes accompany hints of red fruit, giving a very precise identity. These wines are gentler and more delicate than a Barolo, but with an incredible charm.
Palate: great harmony, well-smoothed tannins and balanced acidity. It has a pleasantness that undoubtedly underlines the character of these extraordinary terroirs. Just qualities we look for in our Barbaresco wines!
We recommend decanting it into a carafe to then drink it at a temperature of 18-20°C. It expresses itself best when paired with rich, flavorful dishes, from fresh pastas dressed with rich meat or vegetable sauces to grilled or roasted red meat dishes. It is also excellent with cheeses, from soft to delicate blue cheeses.
