Domaine Au Pied du Mont Chave was founded by the charismatic Francine Picard, daughter of one of Burgundy’s greatest winemaking families, who after several professional experiences decided to return to her roots and take over the historic family property.
La Garenne is a 9.87h Premier Cru vineyard with 40-year-old vines that produces Chardonnay geared more toward elegance than persistence, the vineyard in fact finds itself at a higher altitude than the average Premier cru vineyard in Puligny; aging takes place in barrels for a minimum of 12 months .
