Lowengang is the product of organic and Demeter-certified biodynamic viticulture. This Chardonnay from Alto Adige, by Alois Lageder, comes from the best plots on the Löwengang Estate in Magrè. Spontaneously fermented in French oak barrels, and left to rest for just under a year on fine lees, it offers an extremely balanced palate, where the fresh fruit flavors harmonizes perfectly with the delicate tones offered by the time spent in barrel. The perfectly integrated wood notes and the fruity, complex body form a harmonious and impressive ensemble. The long finish is refined with a subtle note of bitter almonds.
