Rosé de Meunier from Laherte Freres is a “Rosé d’Assemblage” or blended rosé, with the maturity of old Meunier vines. Through its various vinifications, this champagne evokes a perfect blend of fruit, complexity, structure and freshness. The vine-growing respects nature and is influenced by ecological methods, with vines of about 30 years old. Grape variety is 100% Pinot Meunier, from 30% maceration and 10% red wine, 60% white wine (40% reserve wines aged in barrels). Manual harvest at full maturity and traditionally pressed. Alcoholic fermentation in vats, casks and barrels. Malolactic fermentation partially carried out and aged on fine lees. Dosage of 2.5 g/l with disgorgement by hand. During tasting, it is dazzling. Rich, yet concentrated, with superb depth – magical in every way. Orange peel, berries, cranberry, mint and chalk are just a few of the many aromas and flavors that develop as this breathtaking champagne was tasted.
