Vieilles Vignes Chambolle Musigny is made from pure Pinot Noir grapes from a selection of old vines located in the commune of Chambolle Musigny. No chemicals or synthetic substances are used in the vineyard, following biodynamic principles and the vines are plowed by horse. In the cellar, spontaneous alcoholic fermentation takes place and 18 months of aging takes place in mostly used barrels.
The Chambolle Musigny Vieilles Vignes displays a bright, shocking ruby red color. The nose is delicate and very fine with floral hints, notes of wisteria, red currants and oriental spices follow one another rhythmically. The heady but harmonious aromatic spectrum culminates in a whispery and very elegant palate, that’s subtle but with an embroidered saline texture. One of the best examples of its type, which has nothing to fear from any other Premier Cru appellation.
