Bolgheri Superiore DOC “Dedicated to Walter” 2019 – Poggio al Tesoro

originates from vineyards that stretch along the famous Bolgheri road. This wine is dedicated to Walter Allegrini, in memory of the love and passion he dedicated to his work in the vineyard and to this territory.It is made from pure Cabernet Franc grapes, harvested by hand in small boxes during the last week of September. After careful selection and soft pressing of the grapes, there is fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel and malolactic fermentation carried out naturally in barriques. Aging is carried out in first-passage French Allier oak barrels over the course of 18 months.
