Barolo powerful and vigorous, which takes its name from the homonymous vineyard in Serralunga d’Alba, which Angelo Gaja called “Sperss” using a dialectal term that indicates the nostalgia of precious things lost with time. Of a beautiful intense garnet red color elegantly transparent, it presents itself on the nose with a wide and enveloping bouquet, with fruity aromas of blackberry, raspberries and cherry jam, enriched with hints of black pepper, truffle, leather and licorice. Very soft, sapid with important and fine tannins, persistent. It is an excellent wine for aging. The 2016 vintage was awarded with 100/100 by Robert Parker.
