The Barbera di Guido Porro, from the Santa Caterina vineyard is vinified with the traditional method: fermentation of the grapes in contact with the skins without the addition of yeasts for 7/8 days in cement tanks doing, 3/4 pumping over per day.
The aging takes place for 4/6 months in wooden barrels and continuation in stainless steel tanks
To the eyes the color is bright and intense red, strong hue and intensity, on the nose clear sensations of ripe red fruit with hints of rose.
In the mouth: exuberance and freshness typical of the vine, good overall acidity that enhances the softness due to a right tannin/body ratio. Slight hint of vanilla due to moderate aging in wood.
