Aqua Vitae “Le Pergole Torte” Riserva 18 years with case – Montevertine

“Some 18 years ago we asked Distilleria Nannoni to look after a selection of our Aqua Vitae. Sergio Manetti and his dear friend Alberto Manfredi, the ‘painter of Montevertine,’ as we affectionately called him, had recently passed away and our intention was to remember them, by continuing with this project that was very dear to them, which had begun in the early 1980s with master distiller Gioacchino Nannoni. Alberto Manfredi offered to engrave more than one series of bottles that accompanied the Aqua Vitae. For years, we waited with so much patience and a good few expectations for this selection to cask mature, and today, thanks to Priscilla Occhipinti of Distilleria Nannoni, Gioacchino’s granddaughter, we find it’s ready to delight the most refined palates.

Aqua Vitae Riserva 18 years has been aged for 18 years in used barrels, supplied by the Le Pergole Torte winery to the Nannoni distillery. Only 911 bottles – purely for enthusiasts….
