Alto Adige “Lunare” from the Terlano winery comes from pure gewürztraminer grapes grown in the municipality of Terlano.
Yields per plant are extremely low, allowing a greater concentration of richness and fragrance in the clusters, which will be hand-picked so that only the best are selected.
After fermentation, the liquid ages for 9 months on fine yeasts 50% in large wood and 50% in stainless steel. Three months before bottling, blending of the two masses takes place, a perfectunion of richness and freshness.
Gold-colored goblet discharged and bright. On the nose, intense notes of tropical fruit, mint, grapefruit and lychee, with light hints of honey and ginger.
The taste is pure explosion of aromaticity, it enters mightily and caresses the palate by virtue of a persuasive and caressing tactility. Long lingering finish, dragged along by a savory trace that enlivens the drink.
It goes wonderfully with fish dishes, vegetable pasta dishes and blue cheeses.
