I Sodi di San Niccolò has been in Wine Spectator’s Top 100 twice. The pride of the winery, it represents the highest expression of sangiovese in Chianti Classico flanked by a small proportion of malvasia nera, another traditional variety of the area. Vinified in steel and left to mature in barrels for up to 30 months, it reveals itself in the glass with intensity and grace, with harmony and infinite elegance. Excellent even after many, many years after harvest.
