Rosso Toscano IGT “Redigaffi” 2016 – Tua Rita

Redigaffi is a pure Merlot that owes its name to a small stream that flows near the property. When Rita and Virgilio took two barrels of Merlot out of production in 1994, they may not have realized they had created what was to become an international cult wine.
Exceptional fruit has come from those vines planted in 1988, in the heart of an estate set on gentle slopes. The combination of location, soil composition and microclimates had created this unique wine.
First Italian wine to achieve a 100/100 rating from Robert Parker.
