Jamaica Pure Single Rum Pot Still 3 y.o 2020 – Renegade Habitation Velier

Long Pond STCE is a rare mark for the distillery and this release represents the first time in history that it has been bottled white. Total congeners: 816.8 g/hlpa of which esters: 674 g/hlpa. It is a very complex and richly scented distillate that closely replicates the high ester rum production formula of the Cambridge Estate, which has been closed since 1948 but still survives thanks to Long Pond, which continues to produce the high ester rums. The starting point is always molasses, which is fermented by indigenous yeasts and following the same ancestral techniques as in the 1800s. Discontinuous distillation in Copper Still pots, Habitation Velier STCE is bottled at high grade.
