The Radikon family has always lived in the same house in Oslavia. After replanting the vineyards and reconstructing the buildings destroyed during World War I, Edoardo Radikon rebuilt the winery in 1948, devoting himself not only to farming but also to animal husbandry. In the early 1980s, it was handed down to his son, Stanko, who focused on wine, when he also started selling his wine. Since 2016, the winery has been managed by Saša, Suzana, Ivana, Savina and Luisa. Each wine tells the story of the Radikon family, their territory, the past year and the evolution of the winery, always striving for constant improvement.
Similar to its other wines, this white is a blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Pinot Grigio. It undergoes no treatment, either during winemaking or bottling and there is no filtration or clarification, nor are preservatives added. Another great example of how a long maceration on the skins succeeds in bringing out the best of a variety in a magical marriage of terroir and winemaker. A special, distinctive wine – like its producers.
