The history of the Soldera Case Basse winery began in the early 70s.
Gianfranco and Graziella Soldera cultivated the project of producing a natural wine of great quality and knew that they could only make it if they found a terroir with some essential characteristics.
When they discovered Case Basse, Gianfranco and Graziella decided to establish their company here and planted the first vines between 1972 and 1973; this carefully choosing the plots suitable to accommodate Sangiovese.
It is thanks to the passion, dedication and care they have dedicated to those lands if, since the mid-70s, a natural wine of the highest quality is produced in Case Basse, appreciated all over the world.
After the death of Gianfranco Soldera in February 2019, the family continues its activity in compliance with the founding principles and values of Case Basse
