Vermentino di Gallura DOCG “Vign’Angena” 2023 – Capichera

Vign’Angena Vermentino di Gallura DOCG 2021 by Capichera owes its name to the origin of the grapes with which it was produced in the very first years up to the production maturity of the new owned plants. In fact, Vign’Angena in the Gallura dialect means vineyard of others.
Vinified for the first time in 1994, fragrant, mineral, intense, Vign’Angena is the expression of Vermentino di Gallura vinified exclusively in steel tanks. The grapes are harvested between the end of August and the beginning of September, fermentation and maturation take place in steel.
Vign’Angena Vermentino di Gallura DOCG 2021 by Capichera has a pale straw yellow color with slight greenish reflections, very clear. The nose evokes intense, floral aromas of orange blossom, iris, broom, hawthorn and fruity yellow apple with pleasant mineral notes. On the palate it is fresh, alive, with full and fragrant pulp, it closes with a beautiful mineral and persistent finish.
