Franciacorta DOCG Brut “Cabochon Fuoriserie No. 024” – Monte Rossa

Golden yellow wine with fine and persistent perlage. The sense of smell is precise, with scent of blond tobacco, mint, eucalyptus, almond, praline, and lime herbal tea. In the mouth it is balanced, good structure, with notes of honey, excellent balance between acidity and structure; hint of citrus fruits especially grapefruit. Cabochon is Monte Rossa’s most prestigious Franciacorta. It was born out of the research, begun in 1985, of a more careful selection of cru from the Monte Rossa hillside and a new winemaking system that introduced barriques for the first fermentation of the must.
