Château Pontet-Canet Pauillac 1er Grand Cru Classé 2014 – Château Pontet-Canet

Château Pontet-Canet is a historic winery in Pauillac and is also known historically for the charm and importance of their Bordeaux wines.
The large underground wine-making caves, the pride of the Chateau, have contained amphorae for wine making since 2004. A true green revolution arrived at the chateau, after the first attempt had given much brighter and clearer wines. Monsieur Tesseron, very pleased with the result, worked to bring the Chateau first to Ecocert certification and then to Biodyvin certification that came in 2010. Today Pontet Canet manages its 80 hectares of vines in Biodynamic agriculture, therefore vineyard management with horse, buried amphorae the vinification and afinametno of wine, indigenous yeasts and spontaneous fermentations. A real revolution in Bordeaux.
