Chateau Lafite Rothschild: wine has a dark red color, almost ink, and is very dense. A density that is confirmed right from the nose, with a fairly shy Pauillac; not for lack of fruit but for a concentration that only a few years in the bottle will be able to dissipate, to deliver, finally, its promise and aromatic complexity. Fresh, the nose discreetly reveals mineral (graphite) and black fruit notes such as blackberry.
