Habitation Velier’s 2019 version of Long Pond STCE is a rare label for this distillery. Made from molasses and fermented by natural yeasts, following the same 19th-century ancestral techniques. Discontinuous distillation in copper pot still and aged for 3 years. A very complex, richly flavored rum, echoing the high ester rum production formula of Cambridge Estate, which closed in 1948 but still survives through the work at Long Pond, with its high ester rums. The grade is 497.6 gr/hlpa.
