Belmesseri Bianco Caras Delicias IGT is a wine made mostly from Vermentino with Sauvignon and other typical Lungiana vines, such as Albarola and Durella.
\nRecovering and developing native grape varieties starts from a strong knowledge of the territory, the features of the soil and the characteristics of the local grapes.
\nThe Cantine Belmesseri winery pays homage to the tradition of Lungiana, starting with the choice of its name, which celebrates the 16th-century Lungiana poet Paolo Belmesseri.
\nWhat\u2019s more, the property comprises the poet’s birthplace, where, in addition to the winery, there is also a mill with an olive press, and vines are grown along the banks of the Torrente Verde stream.
\nTwo of the seven hectares of wine cultivation are dedicated to native vines arranged in terraces, as dictated by tradition.
\nThe typical alluvial soil, the abundance of cold water and humidity, together with the choice to keep the buildings in local stone, are some of the elements that generate a totally natural thermal control.
\nIn respect of the territory, fine and unique wines such as Belmesseri Bianco Caras Delicias IGT are produced here.
\nThis is a Tuscan IGT white wine that is produced with classic white fermentation in steel and immediate separation of the skins from the must.
\nIt is aged on noble lees for four months with regular stirring.
\nBelmesseri Bianco Caras Delicias IGT shows itself to be a lean, savory wine.
\nIts aromas are citrusy, with hints of tropical fruit, making it a very fresh white.
