It is produced exclusively with Pinot Noir grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Subsequently, the wine ages for 18 months in oak barrels, before being placed on the market.
Alain Michelot’s Bourgogne is characterized by a dark ruby red color. The nose opens with a deep and intense bouquet of plum and blackberry, enriched with elegant spicy scents. On the palate it is exuberant and fresh, with a good roundness, a chalky tannin and a pleasantly mineral finish.
